We have been praying that the Lord would open a way for us to get Dusty’s newest songs recorded and into your hands for a while. The cost of a full CD was exceeding $10,000 and we were a bit discouraged. We wanted this CD to be cost efficient for people to buy in bulk and hand to their family and friends for Christmas and birthday gifts but a full CD would have to be priced at around $20 to even put a little back toward the ministry. When our spirits were close to being discouraged Dusty’s producer gave him the option to do a 6 track disc for less than half the price. At first this didn’t seem like a great option because Dusty has at least 6 of his own songs and a handful of worship songs he wanted to record. But as we chewed this over and prayed about it, it became clear that this solution would be the perfect fit. With the $1600 we’ve already saved on our own, Dusty was able to start the recording process and will continue recording as the Lord provides! The new price for recording will allow us to offer the CD’s at a much lower price and we are so excited to see how the Lord uses this record for His glory. Way to go Dusty! I remember you playing this song in New Mexico at XL and I recorded a snippet of it on my phone to listen to over and over again. I love the song and will definitely be buying a CD. Way to go! God is with you on this one for sure!
